i do this every week:

put REAL mayo in your hair. wrap your head with plastic bag and then wrap a towel around it. Let it set for 15 mins… shampoo and condition.. it is amazing!! or you can heat some olive oil and do the same thing too… but becareful not making the oil too hot!!!!! 5 sec in the microwave.

I dont believe there is any way to CURE a hair problem, just make it better. You can try by making a good homemade deep conditioner for your hair. I usually mix some honey and olive oil together and that makes the hair VERY HAPPY. Now I dont know what kind of hair you have but if you have hair like that of African Americans that mixture will work very well. You can go to http://www.motowngirl.com and she had all kinds of homemade recipes and tips you can use, with tons of links to other web-sites that have advice for hair care. Hope this helped!

Mashed avocado is also great for dry hair. Just mash and massage through hair. Let sit for 15 mins and then wash and use a very moisturizing conditioner.

Also before swimming, get your hair wet in the shower or w/a hose so that your hair absorbs the clean water not the chlorinated water and then wash or rinse as soon as you get out.

    Good luck!
