You can cleanse the area with a 5% solution of tea tree oil
    and take a pro biotic.

Try cutting back on refined sugars in your diet as well- they feed the yeast.

Yes. Grapefruit Seed Extract. Here is the whole detailed cure. Very effective.

Tea Tree Oil is an Essential Oil and as such difficult to use. It has been banned from some countries (Scandinavian countries among others) because of the dangerous results of improper use.

No essential oil must be used when you are pregnant, around babies and children etc. and cats can die from being exposed to essential oils.

Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) has exactly the same properties and is much easier to use as it is not an essential oil. Citrobiotic with 33% og GSE is the best.

I translate here what I had written on a French health forum last year: It’s a bit long, but you have the whole treatment, and you can use it without danger.

For vaginal fungus (candidiasis)/yeast or bacteria.

Never use pure GSE in the vaginal area. Do not wash with soap, but rinse with water where you have added a few drops of GSE. F. ex. the following vaginal rinse at least once a week as prevention or if you suspect recurrence of the problem.:

    – Emergency treatment: 1 to 3 drops of GSE in a glass of warmish water + 5 drops of Echinacea. Place this mixture in a vaginal bulb and inject in the vagina. Keep 4 to 5 minutes. Repeat every 12 hours (i. e. morning and evening) for 3 days and continue the treatment once a day as long as necessary (at least 2 weeks).

    – Add 20 to 30 drops of ESP to the last rinse water of your underwear to avoid spreading of bacteria/yeast/fungus. Spray clean and dry underwear with ESP in spray form. Important to get rid of all fungus and not recontaminate the vaginal area.

    – After treatment, to restore the vaginal flora (very important!) mix natural yoghurt with an equal amount of warmish water and inject in the vagina. Even though it may seem strange, the effectiveness of this treatment has been proved long ago!

    – In case of candidiasis, you also need to take ESP internally. A long process which I can translate if you so wish (ask another question). Developed by a French endocrinologist and fool-proof.

AND !!!! Simultaneously, it is imperative that your partner do the following:

    – Mix 10 drops of GSE in an egg cup of sesame or olive oil and rub the penis with this. Leave for 10 minutes. Never use pure GSE on the genitals! Continue this treatment during at least 2 weeks.

    Same treatment for HIS underwear.

You need to avoid all yeast and sugar products ……… sugar will literally feed the yeast overgrowth allowing it to flourish……… ditch the alcohol and sodas and diet sodas too if you drink any …..and pump up your intake of fresh filtered water to at least 2 – 3 litres per day ….. antiobiotics, especially broad – spectrum antiobiotics will also kill the helpful bacteria which you need for a healthy gut …….. supplement with a good quality probiotic to rebalance gut flora ……… eat more alkaline forming foods such as leafy and green vegies, cold water fresh fishes such as tuna, salmon, sardines and whiting, organic nuts and seeds such as almonds and brazil nuts…….. all these foods are rich in magnesium and will thus encourage the production of hydrochloric acid in your tummy aiding in digestion and effective elimination …….. eat organic brown rice and quinoa (prounounced keen ~ wah) as they are both a rich source of the B complex of vitamins and will provide you with the carbs you need for sustained energy and the quinoa is also rich in calcium and iron ………. Avoid sugars such as honey, molasses, fructose, maltose, lactose and fruit juices …… avoid artificial sweetners and foods containing brewer’s yeast – ie – alcohol such as beer, wine, brandy, whiskey, rum, ciders and root beer…. avoid baker’s yeast ie ~ breads and rolls and pastries …. avoid mushrooms … avoid fruits and vegies with any sign of mold growth on them …. avoid fermented beverages and condiments including mayonnaise, ketchup, pickled vegies and pickles, salad dressings (use lemon and olive oil instead), soy sauce and vinegar …. avoid all types of hard cheeses which are a pretty good source of mold…. avoid processed and smoked meats and fish, including hot dogs, sausages, luncheon meats etc……. these meats are processed with sugar, spices, yeast and other preservatives …. avoid canned bottled or frozen fruit and vegie juices cos they have loads of sugar and are commonly made from overripened or damaged produce; generally the skin of the fruit contains surface mold and rotten spots, which are pulverised into the juice… avoid dried fruits…. avoid coffee & tea as much as you can as caffeine will aggravate yeast overgrowth………………… you don’t need to use medications to kill a yeast overgrowth ….. simply eliminate their food source and they will disappear on their own …… if you normalise the bacterial flora in the gastrointestinal tract you will feel much better and in most cases won’t need drugs ♥

    hope this helps a bit

    peace 2 u

Newsflash: Pharmaceuticals are extensively tested for safety and tightly regulated, they are much safer than anything “natural.” With a natural product, you can’t be 100% sure of exactly what is in it.

The closest safe thing you can get to a natural yeast infection cure that’s proven to work is boric acid. Probiotics have been shown not to work in scientific tests… though anything you put in your vagina can dilute the irritating discharge and thus appear to help.
